[TV] UPDATED Snooki and J-Woww's New Show Finds a Home
Posted by AJ Grey on 02.09.2012

UPDATED: Officials in Jersey City have refused to grant a permit for Snooki and J-Woww's Jersey Shore spinoff show unless they adhere to some strict rules.

1. Four Jersey City PD officers must be allowed to be stationed at their home at all times.

2. The police will stay with the cast and crew when they leave the home. However, the officers will keep their distance so they don't interfere with production.

3. If more officers are called in to handle an incident due to events on the show, the producers must reimburse Jersey City for all related costs.

Officials have also stated that the situation is being taken very seriously and they will take action if any state or city laws are broken.

Producers agreed, and were granted the permit.

ORIGINAL: Snooki and J-Woww's Jersey Shore spin-off will keep to the same state after all. After being denied a filming permit for Hoboken, E! Online reports that MTV has gotten a permit from Jersey City, the second-largest city in the state.

Mayor Jerramiah Healy said, "My view is the more people that see anything about Jersey City and see what we have in Jersey, the better it is for Jersey City."

Production on the show begins this month.
